Damiani makes fantasy bra for Victoria’s Secret

Brazilian model and Victoria's Secret Angel Adriana Lima showed off the $2 million "Bombshell Fantasy Bra," designed by Damiani.  A bejeweled stunner that shimmers with 3,000 brilliant-cut diamonds, light blue sapphires and oval-shaped topaz, all set in 18-karat white gold.  The stunning bra features 60 carats of diamonds and 82 carats of sapphires and topaz set into a starry constellation pattern. 

According to Damiani, the diamond- and gemstone-studded bra was created by six Damiani craftsmen and took 1,500 hours of full-time labor to complete, as each diamond and gemstone was meticulously hand-set.  This is the second year in a row that Victoria's Secret has asked Damiani to design its fantasy bra. In 2009, the fine jewelry brand created a $3 million "Harlequin Fantasy Bra," an 18-karat gold version of Victoria's Secret's "Very Sexy Convertible" bra embellished with 2,355 colorless and cognac diamonds.
